Early Achievers
Our center has been rated a 3+ through Early Achievers since this year, and we were previously rated a 3 for over five years. Steps are being taken to make our center a 4 rating, which includes continuing to improve upon our curriculum and yearly assessments, creating more family engagement opportunities, and adding more trainings through the year for our staff.
Early Achievers is an outline for creating, maintaining, and improving quality in childcares. They offer us coaching opportunities and resources to improve upon several parts of our program. Our Early Achievers coach also visits and offers support to our staff, working with them to work on improving their quality of care and developing their skills further.]
Find Program
The FIND program is another program designed to support our staff and give them the resources to continue to improve upon the care they give to our children. Our FIND coach comes in, films the teachers interacting with their children during normal activities, the tape is reviewed by FIND trainers, and then the reviewed interactions are discussed with the teacher that was filmed. All filmed materials are kept entirely confidential.
The FIND program works on what they call “Serve and Return” interactions. The children “serve” by initiating an interaction and the teachers “return” by noticing and responding to that interaction in a developmentally appropriate way. The purpose of reviewing these interactions is to strengthen the kind of interactions that support the child’s development.
DCYF for Childcare Tuition Subsidy
DCYF provides tuition coverage for families that are below their maximum household income threshold. Our center accepts children that have gotten on our waitlist and have approval for subsidy coverage. If your family needs support with covering tuition, DCYF is a great option for assistance.
NOTE: Having a confirmation of coverage does not mean there is a spot available. Openings and the waitlist must be discussed with our director.
MCCYN
MCCYN is a military tuition assistance program that covers part of the tuition for families with a service member. This includes active duty military families, reservists, and those working in the Department of Defense. If your family would like to apply or has approval for MCCYN, we do accept that tuition payment and would be happy to discuss the details of how that works.
NOTE: Having a confirmation of coverage does not mean there is a spot available. Openings and the waitlist must be discussed with our director.
